Founded on May 18, 2007, Atvos has positioned itself as the second-largest ethanol producer in Brazil and is recognized as one of the principal issuers of Decarbonization Credits (CBIOs) in the nation. The company has the capacity to supply ethanol sufficient for more than 60 million compact vehicles.

1. Foundation and Origins: The company was initially established as part of Odebrecht’s strategic expansion into the agro-industrial sector, operating under the name Odebrecht Agroindustrial.
2. Performance: Currently, Atvos is one of the largest ethanol producers in Brazil, with a significant presence in both hydrated and anhydrous ethanol production, as well as sugar manufacturing.

Established on May 18, 2007, by visionary entrepreneur Bernardo Biagi, the company is proudly headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil.
2010
Beginning of alcohol production (PRÓALCOOL)
2012
Itaquerê Development Institute
A project that works on social promotion, developing, advising and providing technical support for programs to assist children and adolescents.
2016
The financial statements of the Itaquerê Group begin to be audited by one of the “Big Four” auditing companies in the world.
2018
Implementation of the Entomology Laboratory
Biofactory for breeding parasitoids (Cotesia flavipes) to control the sugarcane borer and the entomopathogenic fungus (Metharizium anisopilae) to control the sugarcane root spittlebug.
2020
Installation of the new boiler, distillery and transformation into an agroindustry
ATVOS AGROINDUSTRIAL PARTICIPAÇÕES S.A becomes an agroindustry as of March 31st1. The Itaquerê Group is now made up of ATVOS AGROINDUSTRIAL PARTICIPAÇÕES S.A and Agropecuária Nova Europa S.A., which owns the group’s land.
2022
The Group makes investments and reaches a milling capacity of over 4 million tons.
2024
Commercialization of surplus energy from sugarcane bagasse
2025
Construction of the Sugar Storage Silo and expansion of milling and production capacity.
